Thirsk vs Dunnington

Barry Petty stepped ever closer to his 500 premier league wickets taking 8-43 against the star studded line up of Dunnington. Thirsk batted first making 174-4 with Des Wyrill making a brisk 31, his opening partner Liam McKednry made 48, Sean Holmes made it into the 20’s along with Dave Towse who finished the innings off with 23* along with Ryan McKendry who made 37*. Dunnington made a quick start with Collis King stiking the ball well before Petty went on the attack taking all of his first 4 wickets with help from Des Wyrill at 1st slip. The wicket of the day was Harwood Williams as Anthony Elders took a brilliant 1 handed catch in mid air. Towse took the other 2 wickets but Petty was the star of the show finishing the innings by bowling Robert Chipps as Dunnington were all out for 127.
