Advertising & Sponsorship Opportunities
Main Sponsor
A main Sponsor of Thirsk will receive the full range of Advertising opportunities that we have to offer. A Boundary Board placed around the playing area displaying the logo of your company. A logo and hyperlink from the Club website, which has had over 90,000 hits since its inception 7 years ago. Your logo will also appear on the foot of all club documents which are distributed to hundreds of people every season. There are also opportunities to have your logo displayed on Playing Shirts or Clubwear.
Boundry Board Advertising
The perimeter of the cricket field provides an excellent position to advertise. Boards are professionally designed, including company logos as required and will be displayed in prime vantage points around the ground to maximize exposure to spectators. The boards will be in place for every home game of the season (starting last weekend in April) and will be taken down after the final game (mid September) and cleaned and stored indoors until the following season.
Match Ball Sponsorship
As a Match Sponsor, your company name will be displayed throughout the day on an advertising board in the most prime vantage point on the ground. If you wish to come along and entertain guests on the match day, the Bar Lounge provides an ideal venue and full bar and kitchen facilities will be made available.
What’s on Offer?????
Thirsk Cricket Club has 3 senior league teams, (the 1st XI play in the Premier division of the York & District Senior Cricket League), a senior Evening League team and 3 Junior teams (under 15 , under 13 and under 12). There are around 50 home matches each year (Saturdays, Sundays & Bank Holidays) which attract a high number of spectators from Thirsk and surrounding areas as well as supporters of the visiting teams who travel from areas including York, Leeds, Hull, Scarborough, Pickering and Ripon. As well as the weekend fixtures, there are regular evening league and cup matches played against teams from neighboring towns and villages throughout the year. Add this to the games played in the Junior League and there is often a game of cricket at the ground every day of the week. Thirsk Tennis, Football, Bowls, Rugby and Running Club are also based at the ground, attracting many players of all ages every evening and weekend throughout the summer.
The ground is located at Thirsk Racecourse and boasts an impressive backdrop for a game of cricket. The Lounge bar located in the pavilion overlooks the field with marvelous views from the comfort of the bar. The large function room on the ground floor is available to hire and is an ideal venue for parties or meetings.
