Pickering vs Thirsk
Thirsk moved 14 points behind Woodhouse on saturday with a full 30 points away at Pickering. Thirsk got bowled ut for 161 in the last over, Des Wyrill making 41, Ryan McKendry 38* and Ben England made 28 as the 2 Yorkshire Under 15 players took Thirsk out of trouble with a fine partnership. Pickering looked to make a positive start before Barry Petty went to 500 premier league wickets dismissing Josh Greenlay. Petty went on to destroy the top order taking 3-41, but Dave Towse picked up 5 for doing the bulk of the damage. Stu Christon took the final wicket of the innings bowling Jim Greenlay as Pickering crumbled to 75 all out.
